A born and bred Brooklynite, Joel is the COO of Whimsical Sweets. With 17+ years in the business industry Joel left his longtime job to lend his expertise to his wife’s dream company. His skill set leans heavily to product development, efficiency improvements, problem resolutions, and vendor/client relations. When he has time off from making sure Whimsical Sweets is running smoothly, Joel loves spending time with his daughters, listening to business podcasts, and running in Prospect Park.

Esty, a Brooklyn native, founded Whimsical Confections in 2011, and sister company Whimsical Sweets in 2018. Trained at the Institute of Culinary Education, her intricate designs and imaginative artistry have earned her a devoted following. When she isn’t up to her elbows in cookies & frosting, she can be found hanging out with her husband and two daughters, shopping at Anthropologie, or going for long swims.

The office manager, and system master for Whimsical Sweets, Goldy helps keeps the Whimsical family coordinated and scheduled. She's amazing at helping customers plan and design their custom orders, and suggesting the perfect cookies for the occasion. Goldy is one of the first points of contact in our company and has attended school for both business and culinary arts!

I studied Marketing and Art at Moravian University in Bethlehem, PA, but have always has a passion for baking, cooking, and decorating. Throughout the years, I have worked in different bakeries in NYC and competed in various food competitions. I enjoy what I do because I love making people happy and putting a smile on their face!
